M8X1.25 - Carriage Bolt
A2-70 Stainless Steel / DIN 603
Carriage bolts have a small square shoulder under the head that fits into a prepared square-bored hole. The self-locking square neck prevents rotation, holding the bolt in place while tightened with a mating nut.
A large, smooth domed head creates a safe finish installation, the absence of a drive socket prevents debris build up.
Material: A2 / SAE Type 303
A2 / 303 / 18-8 Stainless Steel fasteners are best for general use applications. They have good chemical resistance and are suitable for use in damp environments, popular across a wide range of industries: automotive, agriculture, medical, food and beverage processing, clean energy, etc.
Per DIN EN ISO 3506: A2-70 austenitic stainless steel specifically refers to a tensile strength of at least 700 N/mm2.
