Bonded Seals have a 2-part construction consisting of a structural metal ring and an interference fit NBR rubber seal to ensure proper centering. When compressed, they create a pressure tight seal.
Commonly installed in high pressure hydraulic applications, these gaskets can be used in static sealing connections including drain plugs.
The steel ring is zinc plated for corrosion resistance in wet environments.
